Within my 16 years of existence, food has always accompanied me throughout my whole journey. May it be the good times, or moments that I am feeling sad, there will always be a platter of comfort food sitting in front of me.

However, as we grow older, the preparation time we have for our meals become scarce. This is a crisis that university students, employees and lazy people experience on almost a daily basis. But worry no more for there is an answer to every problem and for starters, this answer is a delicious one.

Pastil.

The holy grail of every MSUan who abandoned breakfast because they were running late and a gift from the food gods for those who forgot their packed lunches at home. Pastil, the universal pick-up food only worth 10 pesos.

Let us confuse the rich and turn away from all the fancy fast food chains. When eating pastil, you can release your inner nomad and devour it with your bare hands (but with grace, please).
